Maintenance Technician Skill III (General Maintenance) | Full-time

As General Maintenance, the work you do to care for the home away from home will be felt by our guests and colleagues. You will be an ambassador for our brand by taking care of the little things and the big things: ensuring guests' requests are being handled to their expectations, completing projects, performing preventative maintenance and responding to repair requests in a timely manner.  You perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain the property’s facilities and equipment to ensure a safe and functional environment for the guests.Hourly Rate:  $33.99Maintain and repair all equipment using the applicable skill sets:  plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, kitchen, HVAC, laundry, boiler, painting, locksmith and pools/ponds.  Assist with repairs and maintenance as determined by the Supervisor or as needed through service work checklists, preventative maintenance, mechanic challenges and operation testing.  Perform all preventative maintenance on equipment scheduled, i.e. service work, grinding, adjustments, etc.  Inspect condition of equipment for repair and replacement. Participate in departmental trainings on equipment to the satisfaction of the Supervisor.  Report status of equipment to the superintendent through service sheets or verbal communications to ensure proper functions and safety.  Supportive to hotel wide training programs including but not limited to:  OSHA, Safety, Educational and Associate Enhancement programs to assure the continual upgrading of department personnel.Perform general repair workPerform plumbing, refrigeration and air conditioning repairs and maintenancePerform carpentry repairs and minor new work repairs and maintains locks, keys and hardware, tile and cementPerform minor repairs and maintenance to elevatorsMaintain accurate documentation of equipment maintenance and weather readingsOperate, maintain and repair boilers and associated equipment, including mixing, adding and analyzing boiler chemicalsUpdate records of repairs and tasks performedInventory and requisition supplies and parts as neededPerform maintenance requests as assignedEnsure that overall cleanliness and maintenance of our resort exceeds expectationsOrganize time so all side work is completed according to shift demand
